Having had 34 Season Passes at Bridger Bowl and Big Sky since initially attending Montana State University, do you think I know what I'm talking about when it comes to ski area properties? LIKE NO ONE ELSE! No other Realtor at Big Sky, Moonlight Basin, Spanish Peaks or Bridger Bowl walks (skis) their talk like I do. Call me for my particular perspective on ski-in, ski-out properties anywhere around the state, or the West for that matter. But note that skiing is only one passion and one fraction of the expertise I have here in Big Sky country and that my focus will be gradually shifting to encompass more green properties and opportunities.
I'm also an avid fly-fisher, elk hunter, hiker, and mountain biker. That means I get around to almost every river or mountain range in Montana, as well as the rest of the West. My 13 years of real estate experience and perspective is based in conservation and I have a Master's Degree in Environmental Science with an emphasis in land-use suitability to back it up. I've been green before green was en vogue. I spent four years as Coordinator for the Bozeman Watershed Council in Bozeman and performed a three year assessment of the Sourdough Creek Watershed. I also helped write grants for wetlands mapping and protection in the Gallatin Valley. I've led clients through Forest Stewardship Workshops and have had my hand in ranch consulting, rangeland soil monitoring and management, as well as stream reclamation. My reach and range goes hand-in-hand with my experience and you can bank on that. My activities include involvement in conservation easement consulting with a focus to establishing a nonprofit landtrust specifically for organic farms, carbon sequestration and carbon credit trading. For anyone so inclined, I can direct you to investments in ranchlands, model development and intentional communities. Solar, wind and geothermal features, along with radiant floor heating systems are my idea of how to build for the future. One of my goals is to make the world a better place and empowering you as a property owner is an essential component.
As a buyer's agent for acreage, ranches, fly-fishing or green properties, I negotiate hard for your comprehensive interests and I can guide you to associates who are the best professionals to watch over your investment. As a listing agent I know what environmental, conservation and green features of your property to enhance, emphasize and market. As a freelance writer and Realtor with a conservationist bent, I tout stewardship and sustainable systems to protect and enhance your property. Some of my writing can be viewed at http://responsible.ning.com/profile/RichardLadzinski or in the forum, discussion, or blog sections of the Development Crossing social network on www.ning.com. I believe in integrating my skills, knowledge, perspective, work and lifestyle. How you want to live your life is your business, but my job is to make sure you get as much as possible out of your relationship with me as an agent and as a person who knows the West.
